As of 01/01/2020, only Trinity College Dublin (TCD) is accredited by Singapore Medical Council. Trinity College Dublin (TCD) and University College Cork (UCC) will still remain accredited by Singapore Dental Council.
Singaporean and Permanent Resident students who have secured places in UCD, UCC, RCSI and NUIG medical programmes before Jan 1, 2020 will not be affected by the change.

University College Cork's School of Medicine offers both a 5-year undergraduate programme and a 4-year postgraduate programme. Postgraduate medical students merge with undergraduate students in the second term of Year 2, allowing the same clinical and teaching experiences, examinations, and medical degree for all.
Graduates from both programmes are conferred with a Bachelor of Medicine, Surgery and Obstetrics (MB BCh BAO). This degree is recognised as a registrable medical qualification under the Singapore Medical Council's Second Schedule.
UCC is Ireland’s premier research institution. All students complete a research project during their final two years. Students have the opportunity of working with principal investigators at UCC's many research groups and institutes, and many go on to present their work at national and international meetings and publish their research in peer-reviewed publications.
There is also a School of Dental Science, with offers a 5-year undergraduate programme. Graduates are conferred with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), which is recognised as a registrable dental qualification under the Singapore Dental Council's List of Registrable Degrees.
