Hi SMSI,

I hope all is well. Do you have a passion for teaching? If so, this event is for you! SMSI is teaming up with Raining Raincoats to provide our members with an opportunity to teach English to Migrant Workers.

It's Raining Raincoats is a local community that aims to support workers with difficulties obtaining their salaries. However, recently they have also branched out to providing aid to them in different ways.

Lesson plans will be provided by their Academic Director, so all you need to do is to go through it a few days before. We are looking for volunteers to teach a class of 1-5 students. There will be a continuity to the lessons so the "teacher" will have the same class for a series of 2-4 lessons. It will be conducted in a simple yet interactive manner.

Date and Time: Will be up to your own discretion (you can start ASAP too)

Location: Zoom University

Sign up link:

Duration of lesson: 40-45 mins

Slots for this lessons are scarce so do apply as soon as possible. It's Raining Raincoats will also contact you shortly after you have applied. If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a Facebook message. Stay safe and take care.

Best regards,

Kwong Yee

Hello there.

I have a group of students that interested in this programme and would like to be a part of this programme for 2 days. It said that one class has about 1-5 students. In that case, how many volunteers are there per class?

Hope to hear from you soon. Thank you!
