SMSI recently held its annual Freshmen Orientation for Singaporeans who will be starting medical or dental school in Ireland in the 2016/17 Academic Year. Students from all five subsidiary schools gathered for a day of sea, sand and a bit too much sun. Ultimately good fun still prevailed and everyone had a great time. The aim of the camp was to connect new students from Singapore; for them to get to know each other and form friendships before leaving for Ireland. This year, the Orientation was held on Sentosa, and revolved around the theme of "Viruses". Campers took part in challenging mass activities and station games, racing against time to avoid being "infected" by the "Rage Virus". Thank you to all our participants for being such good sports despite the ridiculously hot weather and for all our volunteer OGLs / SMS / Logistics Team for putting so much hard work into making the day a success.
The SMSI Committee would also like to thank our event sponsors Overseas Singaporean Unit (OSU) and Mobile Outfitters for their support. To view more photos, visit our Facebook page.
