In April, SMSI held its first Sports Day at Ringsend Park, Dublin! After 2 long years of COVID-19 and the restrictions that came along with it, participants got to enjoy the lush greenery and sunny Dublin spring!
Attendees enjoyed team sports such as frisbee and captain’s ball and most importantly, an assortment of sandwiches from Pig and Heifer.
We would also like to thank everyone who took the time out to come down for a day of food, friends and fun in the sun!

Luckily for us, the Year of the Tiger blessed us with the opportunity to host our annual CNY Dinner at Lee Kee after 2 years of not being able to do so from the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic. It was wholesome to see familiar faces and meet new ones too!
Even though we were not able to partake in activities like the iconic Escape Boats during the 2020 CNY Dinner, we were still thankful we could gather together once again and enjoy the yummy foods we missed from home (the peking duck was so good and do not even get me started on the spicy fried chicken).
Amidst conversations of catching up with old friends and introducing ourselves to fresh faces, we played the yearly CNY Kahoot.
As the night concluded, as per tradition, the results of the newly elected SMSI Committee was released. We want to congratulate each person who was appointed the role and thank the SMSI Family for the support given along the way. Big hugs especially to the SMSI Committee of '21-22 for paving the way for us. We will do our best to carry on the torch!
