Pre-Departure Dinner 2015

Every year, SMSI organizes a Pre-Departure Dinner in Singapore for our graduated, current and soon-to-be medical and dental students from the different colleges across Ireland to get to know one another within the Society. It promises to be a fun and informative session.

The 2015 Pre-Departure Dinner was held in the prestigious Hotel Jen (Tanglin) with a delicious buffet spread. The programme of the night included the annual Table Quiz as well as a panel discussion with doctors and dentists from the Irish Graduate Association of Singapore (IGAS), who shared about their experience living overseas and how they made the adjustment when returning to Singapore for work.

After a short sharing from each doctor, there was a Question & Answer session for members of SMSI to ask any further questions. Dinner followed soon after and students got a chance to speak to the doctors over some nice food.
